Orballo Albarino La Val CVNE
Hailing from Galicia’s acclaimed Rías Baixas appellation in northwestern Spain, this elegant Albariño is made entirely from grapes grown on the estate’s own vineyards. The fruit is hand-picked from two distinct sites: the elevated “Taboexa” vineyard and the richer, lower-lying “Arantei” plot with its clay-based soils.
Together, these sites contribute a harmonious expression of both coastal brightness and inland depth—hallmarks of the region’s terroir. Fermented at cool temperatures and aged in a mix of concrete eggs, ceramic vessels, and stainless steel tanks, the wine retains its pure, expressive character and aromatic clarity.
- On the nose, expect bright citrus and crisp green apple notes, evolving into juicy layers of pear and stone fruit.
- A gentle saline thread adds a hint of Atlantic influence, bringing a coastal lift to the palate.
- The finish is long, clean, and effortlessly refreshing.
Incredibly versatile at the table, this Albarino pairs beautifully with a wide array of dishes. From seafood and shellfish to grilled poultry and summery vegetable salads. Its subtle richness also complements soft cheeses and even mild spice.
